cod4 shut down

I would go on the extreme server.
first the computer must download some maps.
but i get every time errors.
the first time i get an error was while downloading mp_knife.
my cod4 just shut down.
the second time i tried again, now downloaded the map correctly but after a few seconds, in the level , i get the same error.
now i wonder what the problem is?
