Hehehe ... ooops ... Hahahaha !
Hi Pugz, hi all , this is Sratchy

Here' what i got for Xmas, to make it quick :

MSI K9VGM-V mainboard
AMD Athlon X2 3800+ dual core processor (2000 MHz i think)
2 GB memory (Standard)
MSI GeForce 8600 GTS 256 MB Video card (Fanless)
Akasa ZEN case + my old 480 W standard alim
Akasa Fan control pro
Still my old G15 keyboard and Razer DeathAdder mouse
Still my old 120GB HDD and my Samsung DVD Writer
AG Neovo 19 " LCD wide screen (4 Ms response time)
Logitech S220 Speakers (sux)

it is not a too expensive machine, but it is silent, and it runs UT III great in 1440 X 900 max details

Though, i will upgrade to a better processor ASAP maybe a Phenom (Quad core) with 2 more GB memory, and a bigger HDD (SATA)

Now i hope you all had a merry Xmas as i posted before the server crash
(Nice website by the way), I'll check your server in a while to share a few frags, so ... cya there buddies :D

Oooh, a fanless GPU? Let me know how that works out for you.

I agree with you on the upgrades. I myself would have went Phenom but then I would have needed an even more expensive Motherboard and of course the $100 extra for the phenom itself.

We shall have to frag togethor on UT3 sometime soon scratchy boy!

Yo Pugzilla !

Well the fanless GPU works great for me but as i'm not really confident ... I've added a big and silent 120 mm fan right on the card to make sure it won't overheat, because before i did it, i noticed it reached a really high temperature and i was not sure it was normal ... if i had to buy an other card, i would pick 1 with a fan i think. Plus the cooling system is really big on my card, bad thing for SLI.
It works fine , but an additionnal fan is required, according to me.

Frag ya soon Bud :)
