Well...for the THIRD time in a year or so...my "hoopty-doopty" evga ge-force 8800 GTS has died. RMA-ing a new one, but looking to upgrade - any suggestions? Something a single Mom can afford that'll kick some arse and allow for next-gen games.

Soooo...until I get the new card - I'll be out of commission on gaming, but I've still got my laptop - which can handle ut2k4, but not COD4 - but you know I'll be back.

Sorry to hear that Betty, Wish you a speedy Return.

It seems for the money that the 8800 GTX is still the best bang for the buck :1st:
