Here you go found this on it.. :waveflag:

Ok guys, lets clear something up. Artemis is not an infection or a virus, it is a feature of McAfee.

McAfee Artemis Technology is the first "always-on," real-time protection that secures enterprises and consumers from threats as they strike. It's purpose is to prevent damage and data theft even before a signature update is available—making the endpoints smarter and safer at no additional cost. Key benefits of McAfee Artemis Technology include: bla, bla, bla.....
McAfee Artemis Technology offers real-time security using a combination of signature and behavior analysis with community threat intelligence.

Not that this helps you guys, but I just couldn't stand seeing you say you were infected with Artemis when it isn't an infection but what McAffee calls one of their features.

And if you really want to check out if a file or executable is infected, go to http://www.virustotal.com/ and they use almost all known anti-virus programs on it and tell you how many report an infection, compared to how many don't. Lots of AV programs give false positives, so use http://www.virustotal.com/ and see how the majority rules. Hope this helps someone.

And here is a link explaining McAfee's Artemis technology, http://www.mcafee.com/us/about/press..._180000_q.html
