Hey...not to be paranoid or anything, but I found out about a site that had WAYYYY to much information about me. It's called Spokeo. I think there is a small fee (like a couple of bucks) to join, but I joined and then deleted all the info they had about me and then canceled my membership. It was creepy how much info they had about me....Facebook, Myspace, my email, my address and phone number, my income!! what property I owned....really freaky and worth the fee to get me off that list.

Oh trust me, BIG BROTHER definitely has your number and knows EVERYTHING there is to know about you and your past. And there's no way to get off "their" list. That's all I can say.

Fortunately for me, Sokeo has all of my information wrong.. I remain an enigma... of course, I wouldn't mind living in a house that's worth over a million dollars (I'd just hate to clean that SOB)...

I used to install Directv through another dealer ship.
They came out will a rule that I had to run eveyones credit and the beacon score had to be at least 500 to do the job.
The crazy thing was all I needed was a phone number or a address.
It would come back with SS#'s and all kind of info for eveyone living in the house I looked up.
Where they all worked and some of what they own.
The company did get in trouble for running so many people with out written consent.
We all had to stop and run customers thorugh a less informative program.
I stll look up people everyday but It doesnt give me any info about people just a yes or no if they quilfy for Satellite TV.

Spokeo has been around for quite some time and there are others with just as much info - to numerous to mention here and make everyone paranoid! However, propertyyou own such as a house, etc., at least in the US is public information and can be obtained in several ways - mostly going to your county's web site and looking for tax records. It's like bacon, coffee, and anything else that "may" cause cancer......we can't stop it - so don't go off the deep end trying to! Nothing you can do about it - but if you use Twitter, facebook, etc. LIMIT YOUR INFORMATION!!
