Bit of a mixed bag from me... love my old zombie flicks (Night of the living..Day of the.. Dawn of the Dead) and more recently Dawn of the Dead (remake). I also love gore flicks although I tend to go for the more extreme end such as the Saw series, Hostel, Switchblade Romance etc.

"No Country for old men" is ok. Oh yeah and if you like your gore with comedy try the earlier Peter Jackson movies.. Bad Taste and BrainDead/Dead Alive.

Very Nice picks AsToRoth but you forgot one ... The Resident evil group of dead thing alive.
Very will done I think as the video game just pisses me off

Yeah the Resi films were pretty well done... could have been better tho.. I here Romero was gonna direct the original Resi movie but instead did Land of the Dead.... probably made the wrong decision IMO as "Land" was the worst of the quartet (although still non-too-shabby.. I just think Resi was more tense)... but if you really like your slasher movies with a twist you should check out Switchblade Romance/Haut Tension (as its called in France).. it is all in French with subtitles but luckily there isnt much dialog and when there is theres not a lot to watch. First couple of minutes of the movie pretty much sets the tone for the whole thing.
