Be careful in the midwest
Central Indiana got over 1 1/2 inches of ice with all that storm. Schools have been closed for 4 days now (including Friday). This ice is mixed with a lot of sleet and has made a major mess everywhere. Sleet, freezing rain, sleet, rain, freezing rain --- just a slip-n-slide party on the interstates. They finally got the major roads cleared on Thursday but secondary streets aren't so good. The sidewalks look as if they have a solid sheet of glass that is impenetrable. Everyone has been breaking out the axes and chain saws to try to cut through the solid sheets. The city was pretty much a ghost town on Wednesday.
