there used to be a late Friday night snow on in Cleveland called the big chuck and little john show, you know the type.. comedy hosts showing a monster movie type thing.. actually started in the 60's with Ernie Anderson and his Ghoulardi character.. one of the skits they would play during the commercial breaks was called the junk food junkie, and used that song as a background..
on FB, there's a group i got into a few days ago called "if you grew up in Akron, you would remember..." and Ghoulardi and the following shows that replaced him when he left in 67 to go to california and become the voice of ABC came up. i did a youtube search for old hoolihan and big chuck clips, and it reminded me of the junkfood junkie which was always one of my favorites.. so off to searching i went, and found this one lol
