Ok Mopar guys what should i look for when picking up an old 71 Dodge.

they guy selling it thinks its a old super bee

some of the quarter panel rear are rusted and front floor boards. Frame is ok ...

engine stock 383 Mag, orginal slap stick tranny . Interior is ok usual wear and tear.

Check the trunk for cracks along the frame rails. Also look at the rocker panels really good. I have a few questions on your Vin number though. The 5th digit that "M" shouldn't be there for a 71. Check again it could be a "N", AND another thing is that in 71 chargers used a "W" instead of an "x". It could be a earily 71 or a late 70. Its to bad that the engine code wasn't a "R"(426 hemi). Any who if it is a "N" its 300hp 383 4 barrel. Its not a Super Bee though. If the first letter was a "M" you would have a super bee. This car was made in Hamtrack. Super bee's were made in Louis. I would be able to tell you more if you have a fender tag or body tag. Engine tag would really be helpful.

Canadian build

How did you come up with the Canadian built? The "A" says its a Lynch Road plant car. Lynch road is in detroit.
