does it attach to your hand or just sit on the table? its kinda weird,

It just sits on the table. I have used a left handed keyboard for years and I don't think I could use a normal keyboard. I have decided I am going to change my key configureation with this new keyboard. I will more than likely stink for a while. By changing I am hopeing it will help me move better.
