Anyone going Deer hunting this year?

I going to see if I can take down a deer with my M4. :chaingun:
I know people who use to hunt deer with a 223 hunting rifle and were sucessful.
I have some 5.56 Nato with 62 gran Hollow points I am hoping will do the job well.

I use to bow hunt alot back in the day. I am trying to sell my tree stand at moment because I rarely get to go anymore. 5.56 should do the trick, I would use softpoints tho, hollow's might explode your deer more than you want, however ive never shot meat with a hollow 5.56 only water jugs etc.. so I dunno. There are alot of ppl I know going to the AR platform for hunting. of course they limit the magazine capacity here to 5 rounds for hunting... I am told getting caught by the game warden hunting with 30 round mag is not good! Good luck, make me some jerky if you get one :tools-spork: :violence-snipersmiley:
