I'm finally going to upgrade my phone. I have Sprint right now, and will likely stay as the rating between the top three doesn't really vary much as far as price and service, and I am eligible for a nice upgrade on all my lines.
That being said...what type of phone do you have, and why do you like it? My hubby has an ancient HTC with stylus touch screen and it has been very reliable and he can use Microsoft outlook, word and excel on it - he uses those programs extensively. From what I have read, the new HTC phones are just as reliable, but only one mentions the use of the Microsoft Software.
I have friends who use the iPhone 4 and 4s, and friends who use HTC brands. Each of them love their phones but are technologically challenged and can't really articulate to me why I should buy the phone that they have over another brand. Samsung is highly rated...but most products that I have bought from Samsung are crap, so I don't know how that relates to their smartphone lines. I have an iPod Touch and an original iPad. I can't say enough about how wonderful my iPad is....can't imagine life without it anymore, really. I bought a used one off a friend who was upgrading and paid less than $400 - WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! So...I'm assuming that an iPhone would be wonderful, albeit limiting as far as the OS goes.
So...what do you all think??? I definitely want a newer smart phone with touch screen technology. Comments? :geek:

I have had a HTC Incredible for over a year now and I am still amazed at how great it is.
They have came out with many phones since I got mine. I am so happy with my phone that when I go to replace it I will not get anything but HTC.
My kids have iPhones and they love theres but I would not trade my old phone for a new iPhone.
One thing I noticed from having both is that they are more Free apps on the windows phones than the apple phones.
I think that there a better apps to, but that is only my opinion.

I love my HTC Thunderbolt.. I have the 32 gb memory card in it.. I have 4 movies saved on it (so far) and I can get on Teamspeak.. I can make skype video calls.. and so much more.. I love the 4G speeds... I would die without my Thunderbolt while at work...

Just got A new Smart phone Not like you I have had good luck with Samsung electronics "so far".
I got a Samsung Mesmerize Galaxy S
One of the Main reasons was it's OS I am a Linux nut
Second reason was it's shape ... It fits in my back pocket
Third The screen is simply amazing
Fourth I Have been able to find apps to do everything I can think of ... I can VNC to any of my computers with it or telnet into them, TS3 works very well on it and E-Mail and Web are great.
Not to sure about running any MS software.
