as i have watched them both the later would have been more scary in that year

Yes I have watched the Charlton Heston one a few times.
Have not seen the movie I AM LEGEND but I thought is was a remake of OMEGA MAN

And apparently it was originally made in the 50's... the called "The Last Man on Earth".. according to my movie buff mate.... although Ive yet to check that one.
