I use Paint.net and Microsoft gif animator.
pait.net to Render my 3D shapes than the animator to put all my frames together.
I do each frame by hand.
all free stuff.

i used paint.net too theres loads of plugins and tuts on there site and for animating i use unfreeze prog but thats a really basic prog
