I was sent a message earlier today about Bam's passing from my friend Band. First and foremost my heartfelt prayers go out to his family and friends in the "Real World" and may our Lord and Savior provide and comfort them with the strength and guidence they need to make it through such a trying time. I would also like to take this time to give all of you my deepest condolences for the loss of such longtime and great friend. J.J. and I joined the clan at the same time and would always swap stories about his state of Louisana where a lot of my family are and have come from to Texas. We had a lot of laughs about some of the culture that still exist in that wonderful part of the world and I will cherish the memories of those times he and I spent sharing our culture with one another.
If any of you care, I, myself have decided to completly retire this time mostly due to some medical issues I have succumbed to which is mostly from the rough life I've lived and old age.
( Getting old isn't for sissies! ) I often have thought about each of you and wondered how you all are faring in this world as we know it today, I mean after all we spent as many hours with each other gaming, as we did with our " Real World " family.
I bid each of you a farewell with a life full of happiness and good health and may the Lord bless each and everyone of you. God loves you, and so do I! Much love
Your Friend (Hopefully)
Shooter ( Lamar ) aka Rat Bastard #2

Very sad news to hear, only played with him a few times. A very good man taken too soon.

This is so absolutely heart breaking.

First, thanks, Shooter, you covered the hope of the resurrection well.

Second, BamBam should always be remembered as the most kind man. We all can be very competitive at times but in the years I spent with him I never saw him be rude or uncharitable. He was always of excellent character and there are no higher marks in this life.

I know this will be hitting a few of you particularly hard and hope if there is no one for you to talk to IRL that you’ll reach out to a friend here.

I will sure miss his voice.

Love to you all.

M

My deepest condolences, my ESC friends.....it's hard to find the right words to say right now. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and to JJ's family. Like dlux said, BamBam was always kind, always optimistic, always happy. Truly an example we should all follow. Life's too short, so make sure to do and become whatever it is that you desire with complete passion and resolve.

Klem Moni

Condolences to the entire ESC family. Bam was such a good guy with a wry wit and self-deprecating attitude, which is not always easy to find particularly in an online community. I know he was a big part of this community and always brought this two dimensional world to life for me personally. He will be missed.

Sincerely,
Res

Gutted to hear about Bam Bam. He was a kind soul and a fierce competitor. He also had a distinctive voice that I can hear in my head right now, but I realize I will no longer hear again in game. I will miss you Bam Bam/JJ. Condolences to his family IRL and his family here.
