hahaha good for you mikey i think hybrids are just crap people like to brag about. kinda like the best phone in school or best shoes etc.. its only good in the sense no one ones has anything like it.

Sorry - I have to speak out on this one! I own an '07 Prius - gets 46-48 mpg on the freeway (gotten as high as 50) and regularly 43-44 around town in a lot of traffic. And it too goes vvvrrrooomm if you put your foot in it. The sound this idiot makes is when it's running on the battery - it's electric, what sound should it make? For a small gas engine I'm impressed with the ooomph it actually has. Would I buy another - ask me in 2 1/2 yrs when the lease runs out. Maybe by then technology will have changed enough for me to consider something else.....maybe not. I've had it for 2 1/2 yrs and have 27,000 miles on it.....ok, it's not a VW. If I was making VW commercials, I 'd knock everyone else's car too!

I've had mine for 2 1/2 yrs and over 27,000 miles on it. You just have to drive one to see what the "vroomm" is......and NO, it's not swish, and mine's white for those who've seen the "blue" commercials......

I did look at them in 2005 but with over 500 miles a week I decided not.
Got a Mini Van instead.
