as awesome as it is, it'll be a good long while yet before its commercially produced for consumer markets. iirc the base price tag was over $7,000

You been in a coma Gleedo? I remember hearing about this stuff about 2 years ago Lmao. Atm M$ are targeting it as corporate crap but tbh as nice as it looks I cant see any justifiable use for it.. specially at that price tag. I dont doubt having a PC/Multi Media/Coffee Table would look cool but lets face it, for the next 5 - 10 years the only ppl who will be using this stuff are lottery winners and idiots with no brains (ok ok most of the time they are one and the same LoL)

If you want the next best thing and use FireFox check out this plugin... Sweet as a nut for searching out reference images on Google and Deviant Art...

Demo Movie and Plugin Download

Not too clever if you have a poor connection tho as it will take forever to load the "Image Wall".

Nah they are still working on it but its cost means it aint gonna be around for us mortals for a long time to come. As I said earlier tho, aside from the "wow" factor I really cant see a viable use for it to justify its cost... sure it would be a great gimmick as a designer to show off w/e it is you are trying to sell but it just aint worth the outlay. Probably looking at about 10 years by the time you see crap like this in the home and by that time I expect $ony will have smacked M$ ass again like they did with Blu-Ray/HDDVD... congrats M$ on investing in an already dead horse on that one Lmfao.
