COD4 server cut out

Hey I got the IP adress inserted and it comes up but theres no name or anything just ... and ??? i installed all patches for PC and still won't go on anytips any1?
P.S my laptop runs Vista if thats anything

Your sure you patched up to v1.6?

You would have to add 1.4, 1.5 then 1.6.

Did you add the port? 208.167.250.174:28960

What Lager said. If you have not installed patches 1.4, then 1.5 and then 1.6, only the ip address will show in favourites rather than the server name.

i installed them all in order but the i.p address comes up as numbers. i tried to reinstall the patches but it keeps coming up patches are already installed.

Did you hit quick refresh? The server sometimes appears as the ip for me until i do that
