for me sod of is a less agresive way of swearing in a kiding kind of way like when my mom says do me a cuppa i say sod off i dont wanna swear at her but i want her to no im not gonna do it kind of thing mabye someone else can explain better but in my expireince i have allways thought of sod off as somthink u can say to someone with out effending them like just mess around with them or not depending on what u put after sod off ...if thst helped
