In a little over a month from now I will be shipped to bootcamp,

I am a Cannon Crewmember in the Army. So yeah I will even be more distant that I am now when that happens.

Ahh the memory's. Good luck. Make sure you volunteer for everything. They will remember! Its has been 20 yrs since i went to bootcamp in the Corp.

EGADS - boot camp - I went in into the Army in '66......from Portland, OR to Fort Polk, LA - and I remember it like it was yesterday! For those who are thinking otherwise, it was 1966, not 1866..... Oh, and don't get a haircut before you go - they'll give you a nice one and best of all - it's FREE! Thanks for serving.......enjoy the experience!!

Ha! Ft. Polk Pappy is the biggest shit hole ever i been there twice and now i'm taking a break thy sent m there for Joint Readiness Training and its funny to see civilians with towels on there head try to act as a terrorist

I was just there at the beginning of the month for some fire drills and sneek thy are going to tell u allot of things that are BS but for the most it is a great experience and looks good on ur resume
