**********WARNING*********POSSIBLE ADDICTION MAY OCCUR************WARNING***********
1 16 oz tube of sugar cookie dough
1 20 oz can if apple pie filling
1/4 cup of sugar
2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
press 2/3 of the cookie dough into the bottom of a 8 X 8 or 9 X 9 oven dish
Mix cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle 2/3 of the mix over the bottom layer
spread apple pie filling over the bottom layer
flatten the balance of the cookie dough as flat as you can and place on top of the filling (May not cover all of it, but that's OK)
Sprinkle the remaining sugar/cinnamon mix on top.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
Hot out of the oven with vanilla ice cream-----

Neat! Actually never thought of sugar cookie dough as a pie crust. I got a mini muffin pan and a couple jars of lemon curd. I becha i could make some real quick lemon tarts that way. and its already in the right shape if you just slice off discs and press it in. Ima gonna hafta get some dough and try it. New holiday item to go on the brownie tray maybe? :mrgreen:
