or should i go for something else? should i get an internal for games? i have a few games on an external, not sure if it slows them down or not

i dont buy any drives for myself that have less than a 3 year warranty. hard drives are super precise devices, they know when they will fail based on tolerances and assign warranty's accordingly. i cant tell you how many laptops i've seen with bad drives just after their 1 year warranty was up. they used to use mean-time before failure (MTBF) ratings, not sure if they are believed anymore.
