Im having to change out my CPU cooling system (fans are crapping out). It has recommended to me to purchase the Corsair Hydro Series H80 Performance Liquid CPU Cooler. Has anyone had any experience with this system? Any better recommendations?
Thanks for the help...

The nice things about those, is the heat is removed directly from the case. Probably a great thing if you have a small case. That being said, I haven't seen many reviews that can show this liquid cooler is better than a 3 or 4 heat pipe heat sink system such as the hyper 212. Now if you are overclocking/voltage boosting - this type of cooler may very well work great. New fans should be under $10, and a hyper 212 should be $29 or less if you can find a sale.
Just quickly pulling up this review, someone commented that these closed loops systems are out performed by Free air coolers.

This is the summary of a Hyper 212 EVO review ($35)

My I7 uses a hyper 212+ and my old AMD Q940 uses the Coolermaster N520. The N520 was at least $10 more, and has dual fans. Never had an issue with heat with either one.

I'm using a Corsair H80i, a little bit of a pain to install/set-up. but keeps my chip cool like a champion. My 8 core AMD has never gone over 50'F.

Dave, is the Corsair H80I a dual fan mount? What is a good price?

It's a single fan sized radiator, with push and pull fans, should fit in most single fan sized holes, but it's pretty thick.
Not sure about the prices, I got mine a while ago.
