Nice lyrics LoL defo a snipe at Bush and his cronies.
Gotta admit tho Slipknot have always been one of those bands I just didnt get. They kinda remind me of a joke metal outfit who used to wear stuff like that on stage (Krang or something... I forget the name now). But yeah tbh I tend to give slipknot a swerve.

And you would have to listen to their work in depth to get it fully, but there has never been a Slipknot song that I've heard and didn't like the very first time.

Thats the fella GWAR LMFAO.... I just couldnt take em seriously... although by the time Id heard of them I was more into Slayer, Morbid Angel and the like... my tastes in Metal alone are as varied as my tastes in music in general LoL.
Nah I gotta be honest, although Ive read some of slipknots lyrics and found them meaningful and trite... its the delivery I dont like... just not my bag... to me Slipknot are the Marmite/Vedgemite of Metal... you either love em or hate em.... and I guess Im of the latter variety....... I would be if I wasnt so damn apathetic LoL.

Slipknot has proven themselves to anyone who gave them the time of day, and most everyone who didn't. They demanded respect and fought for it, which is where the anger from all their music comes from. Fun fact - The lead singer of slipknot (Corey Taylor) is also the lead singer of Stone sour, as well as the rhythm guitarist for slipknot, (James Root). And to top off my blind obsession (thats admitting it, step one of the 12 step :P ) Joey Jordison is the best drummer....ever. With the close comparison of Neil Peart of Rush, and Brandon Saller of Atreyu for his amazing voice.
