Ok all ...
I may need a little help ;
My system crashed about the time I installed COD4 (by the way will not install on win2k with out a trick),
But may not be related to it.
The system would take hours to boot, but would boot. After that it would take hours to get anything from the Hard disks, But once it was in memory would acted normal.
I had googled and searched high and low for anything even close to this problem, But nothing came up that would help.
And it seems that it is getting wource as time goes on.
I use Norton anti virus and nothing comes up. no Keyloggers and no rootkits, no maulware, and no hardware problem that shows.
Also run Zone Alarm pro.
My system is a Soyo K7 dragon plus! with an AMD xp1800 1 gig of memory (two512) and 2 WD 240 gig hard drives.
With Windows 2000 pro.
Me not wanting to give up Have just put those two drives to the side and am reinstalling all on two new 500 gig WD drives.
So as I figure it out .... I can go back to it.
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated
If you need more info on this just let me know :takethat: :doh: :censored:
