Elite Sniper Corps

Just wondering should I download and use Xfire, from what i know its similar to msn but is used in games...i think. i'd appreciate any feed back (relevant feedback REAPER lol : )

great programme you can even talk in game with it and it lets you see where and what your buddies are playing :10:

it have good things and bad things
good things: what trippin says
bad things:- it shut down my game regulary (i have this problem sometimes with cod2)
- why use xfire if you got TS?

I have it but rarely use it - the damn thing never stops beeping in my ear when i get in-game messages :read:

yeah i now,its really frustrating escpecialy when you want to concentrate on the game

im sure u can turn off the bleeping then all u do is type in ur status concetrating on game may not reply

if you don't want to disturbed while playing, why log in into xfire? :ebiggrin:

I have like 60 xFire contacts, I can swear they are not all on TS at the same time :roll:

I use xFire and have set it so that it opens automatically when computer is turned on, find it absolutely great to keep talking with the people you want when you can't get with them on TS, or when ingame.

When playing 2k4, I answer to my xFire when I am froZzen or when the map is over.

When playing CoD, I answer when the map is over or if you need to wait a few seconds before spawning, which is often enough time to answer to everyone

Yes, you can turn the beep off.

easy way to turn it off which i have done
on main xfire thing with all ur friends names
->tools
-->options
--->sounds
--------------->change whatever your little heart desires
