Well, it looks like im going to be away for a while... My system continues to overheat and lock up.  Guess its time for an overhaul.  Hope to see everyone soon.

BamBam... if you need help with your PC... there's a lot of resources here to help.  Feel free to ask for help if you need it...  I'm sorry you'll be away for a while :(... See you when you return!!  I have an RC car waiting for ya!

Cleening up?   vacuum your cooler and motherboard.   it helps

"vacuum your cooler and motherboard" not a good idea Vacuums can build up static charge, plastic nozzles are the worst, blowing air is the best way, and make sure not to make your fans rotate while blowing them as a back charge can wreck you day!

I moved my computer from the floor to the desk and that has changed my cleaning from once a month to once every 3 months.  If your machine is dust free, and still continues to overheat....you may need to clean and re-apply heat sink compound to either your CPU heat sink and/or your Graphics card Heat sink.  I do mine every two years.

And the market has some nice, relatively inexpensive sealed liquid cooling for chips and graphics cards.  Took about 10 minutes to install.  Nice and cool here in the Boop home.
