My name is bRoKeN, I really like playing on your freeze tag server, very nice players there. Maybe one day I will be as good as everyone else.

I am older than dirt, lol which reminds me of the the other day, I was in a store checking out , talking to the sales boy, he mentioned gaming and I told him I gamed and had for years, He said wow, he didn't think anyone over 30 played COD4 ....lol I just laughed.

I live in a very small town in North Carolina. I am widowed, have been for years. I was going to remarry in October, but he suddenly passed in Jan, hence the name bRoKeN came to be. My daughter and granddaughter live with me. Most of my time is spend gaming or chatting if I can find someone.

I just wanted to say hi and sorry to those that think I was mean, lol I really didn't mean to be.

Welcome bRoKeN! We've all been playing this classic COD4 game for many years, specifically the Freeze Tag mod servers. I've played this game since it's launch in 2007 so it has been my all time favorite FPS game due to the mods and dedicated servers. With that said, I also have gone through very tough times with the loss of my son at the age of 24 back in 2017 and my wife had a heart attack back in 2021. This game has given me a way to escape for a few hours at a time and have some fun with many players that I've gotten to know and play with over the years. You may be happy to learn that there are many women here at ESC in prominent roles on and off the servers. Veector is one of them. Beware of her because she will snipe you faster than you can aim down your sight and she's very good at what she does. I love her when she's on my team but when she's not on my team I know to be on the lookout for her and locating her hiding spot is usually my first agenda. HaHa!

I am so sorry for your loss. I've played the cod series for years myself. I use it as an outlet, be it for stress or whatever. At least when I am playing I am not alone. I'm glad there are other women players, I feel bad when I shoot one. It's hard enough being a woman and playing fps games. I think sometimes others don't think you are really serious about the game. I don't mind at all when Veector shoots me. She is a very good player and yes like you, I love it when she on the same team as myself. LOL when she is not, it's time to look out.. She's gonna get me I know. Do you play under another name? I don't remember seeing this game in game when I have been there. Thank you and Veector for the welcome posts, I was very nice of you both.
