Cod4 profile backup

I just got a couple of golden guns and only 1 challenge left to complete is there any way to copy this or back up this profile in case it is accidently deleted ???

if i'm right you can do it this way

C -> program files -> activision -> call of duty 4 -> players
copy the map players to a save place and then its done (e.g extern hard disk)
i'm very happy i've 1
every important file(s) i copy to it
