I am conducting a poll of all {ESC} Members and visitors to the forums/gaming servers. (This is for work purposes ... not gaming).

Do you have a smart phone? If YES, do you prefer to view websites in the normal style as if you were viewing it on Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, Chrome or do you prefer viewing websites in a more functional mobile format?

Please vote for what your preference is. This information (since viewed demographically across the globe) will help me realize if a mobile website is needed to promote more traffic to my employer.

Thanks!

I just got my first smartphone a few days ago, haven't been so much on the Internet with it... What would "disappear" in the mobile viewing ?

Here is a website blog that talks about the loading differences. Basically, mobile sites load faster on a mobile phone because it has been optimized versus all the extras that a regular website has. Mobile websites aren't that hard to create .. you just want to be sure (as with regular websites) that all users can view the information easily.

Mobile for me. Less pretty and straight to the point is what I like. Kinda like Ripper when you think about it. :)

I do have both a smartphone and a tablet. I prefer a mobilized website for the smartphone, but for the tablet a normal webpage works fine. I don't really access the forums on my smartphone. I'll occasionally pop by on my tablet but mainly my desktop is the primary access device.

Poop ... you don't have my option;

I have a smart phone and would like the option to view the page as I want.
I hate being forced to view the mobile page just because I am on my phone.
