Yeah there are some fantastic drummers out there. I have been drumming for close to 30 years now, mostly funk/fusion, rock, jazz. But there are few IMO that can even touch this guy, even at 60 some years old. Is quatering syncopation is mind boggling. Cheers to the drum legends!!

I agree that is awesome but my fave has always been Buddy Rich and im pretty sure that dirk was refering to him although i could not follow his link. To me, he was the best and I think that is because he had more time to practice

Fixed the link, sorry about that. I love Buddy Rich as well. There are too many drummers that I admire to post here, but my favorite is Dennis Chambers. The king hands down in my world!!
